08 body on 06

i have a 2006 tl base, and i was going to add a aspec kit, i was wondering should i convert the body first to 2008 then add it or just stick with the 2006 body and just add the aspec

First off, the A-Spec sideskirts from 2004-2008 are all the same, regardless Type-S.
As for the rear, the BASE TL A-Spec rear lip is the same from 2004-2008.
The Type-S A-Spec rear is however different, and fits quad exhausts.

Now as for the front, it changed to accomodate the bigger grill and fog lights.
If you have the money, upgrade the bumper to a Type-S and get the front Type-S A-Spec lip.

If you don't want to drop the money the expensive bumper we've used DIY bumper lip kits they only cost about $30. You can find them online or on ebay it really makes for a good look for the price.

The infamous cheap home depot lip
