Car 1: Acura 2006 TL
2006TL-alarm system

Within the last 3 or 4 days, several times when I have parked and locked my 2006 TL, the alarm goes off 30 seconds to 2 minutes after it has been locked. I could not find anything in the manual for assistance, do you have any ideas.
Weather has been wind-free, no outside type stimuli
Thanks

Bob

Are you near the car when it goes off? Try using your other set of keys or try locking the car with the key and not the fob (leave the fob out of range). This will determine if the problem is the car or the fob.

Could this be a sign that your battery is starting to go bad? Havn't had this happen to me, but have heard of bad batteries causing car alarms to go off.

I Will try to manually lock the car and see what happens.
Thank you
