well, I guess it depends on what is giving off the offending odor...
can you tell where the smell is coming from?
and I'm not sure what you mean by "laundry"... I like the smell of clean laundry, so I assume you mean dirty laundry... are you saying it smells like body odor? or wet rags?
did you get water in the car recently? have you been tracking in dirt and water onto your carpet?
I'd agree with acura kid. You might also want to look for a product called "damp rid". You keep it in the car near where moisture resides and it keeps it quite dry.
Good luck and let us know.

If you let the car sit for long periods of times, as in, you may not drive it for days at a time, the interior cabin filter can mildew and you can get that dank smell from it. Even though you shouldn't have to change the filter until about 30,000 miles, I've discovered that mine stinks after the car has been sitting for a while. I never noticed it when I drove it daily but now that I mostly drive my truck in the winter, all the condensation from the A/C unit collects and mildews in the filter. Then when you start up the car the fan blows the air over that musty filter and you get that smell.
Ok, but what about the sulfer smell after really getting on the throttle? Tried different gas stations, additives, the dealership denies the smell exists (even when I pulled into the garage, stinking up the place). Is this common, or is there a cure?

Update: I cleaned the cars inside yesterday and rugs are all out. I get in today and the smell is still there. I will clean the trunk but i have to figure out how. The smell comes and when i drive its gone. Could a dead animal be stuck somewhere lol?

Maybe cause u been smelling it to long when u are in the car so ..u dont notice it.
Maybe u want to sniff around in your car to find out where the smell is the strongest at and go from there.
Do you smell this odor when the car is off? or does the car have to be on? ane when the car is on - do you have either the AC/heat fan on? I have an odd, kinda moldy smell with the AC and almost a water on hot metal smell with the heater on. It is most noticeable when I turn the fans on - and slowly goes away as I drive. Not there all the time either. Very weird. I read somewhere that it may be condensation on the evaporator unit?? Not sure - but I think that makes sense. May have to get into the dealer for a look.
