Canadian TL Owners - Requesting Sticky PLZ

One new thing i noticed that the US model has over the CAD models. What is that little nub over top of the rear windshield. The canadian models dont have that. I'm guessing it's XM radio antenna, but cant really figure it out.

Thanx, and welcome. U should be able to find whatever u need at Acuraworld. Ill try to do a search and see if we can find any. Right now since the TL is still fairly new, not many people even have em, let alone do anything to them. Im planning to add rims to mine within the next 2-3 months, as soon as the weather starts to get nicer here in Edmonton.

go right ahead.... i used to sell Acura's... so i might be able to help u out. also if u can tell me the name off the dealership and wht city....

I leased my 03 for 506/month with 3000 down.

I financed my 04 this time around.

Thats not too bad at all, considering ur in toronto. Does that include GST/PST.

I think ur paying close to what almost everybody else would be paying since it is the first year for the 3rd gen.

Good/Decent deal.

Hey Mbmah.... welcome to Acuraworld. U'll get a lots of ur questions answered here. Lots of people with lots of info.

Where do u plan on bying ur TL. I reccommend Westside Acura. I have bought 3 acuras there in the past 17 months. They provide great service and very hospitanle salepoeple. I have two salesman that i would reccomend from there.

Keep in mind that I live in the SouthSide of Edmonton, and i still would rather take my car to the Westend instead of Southview. U urself will find out sooner or later.

The 2 salespeople i would reccomend are Tony Chilton, or Zerwin Mabugat. Let them know that "Nav" send u.... and tell them that i siad that they would give u an great deal. Believe me.... its worth it to go a little farther.

A good deal would be about 1000 off MSRP, but hold out, and ask for a free spoiler, or deck lid amd some free winter mats, (which ull need in Edmonton), Tint, and get them to also throw in Lifetime oil changes. I got a little bit better than that... but i used to sell cars there and do all my shopping there... they knew i walked in not wanting them to make money off of me.... LOL

That's not a deal-you should be able to come in for less than that-there's no discount in the numbers. If that number works for you monthly drop the dp to $4000. Remember its the residual that drives your lease number-start talking residual with the guy and he'll know you know whats up. If they won't bug take the numbers to another dealer and tell them to beat it-all dealers are hungry to sell they will outbid each other to get a deal. I have worked 3 or 4 leases in the 2 months-let me know if you need more details.

Yeah but u can't change the residual value of a car on a lease. The Residual is a preset value. What u can change is the MSRP (the cost of the car). Even if u can get them to bring the cost down to 38000 which is not gonna happen, the residual will still be the same after however many years u lease ur car for.

Honda Canada decided the Residual, just like they decide what finance rate they are going to offer. Have you seen Honda Canada move on the rate? No.

But then again, I might be wrong... and so might you. I sold cars for 9 months. I know its only a limited time but I've also bought 3 cars from Acura in the last 16 months. Plus i sold about 65-75 cars in my 9 months.
