$2500 I don't think is unreasonable. I had a really good buying experience at Acura East when I bought my EL, but it's out in Ajax. Service is pretty good too, as I continue to have my car serviced there. I hear Acura 2000 in Brampton is a good dealer too. A friend bought an MDX there. To be frank, I have heard many bad stories of many dealers within the Toronto city limits. They can probably afford to hustle a customer or two, and if they lose that customer, chances are there's someone else in line to buy a car; it's a big city. The dealers outside the city tend to not have the huge volume sales and so are more likely to make a deal and try to kick the service level up a notch to bring them back.

Sorry if this is a hijack of your thread. But I figured there'd be some Vancouverites here.
Vancouverites owning Acuras who are interested in forming a club are encouraged to contact me through the link below where there is a Vancouver Meet thread. I am thinking of forming a club so we can do picnics and drives and maybe pick up a sponsor on the way who would donate prizes or....you get the idea. I am a 3g TLer but I want to open the club up to all Acuras of every vintage. Of course US owners from nearby places would be welcome. Appreciate your thoughts on this. http://www.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=308967 Triggle : |

So the meet is still a go?? Haven't check the meet section yet. Any way, I am back in Vancouver for vacation. Will be staying 'til July 8th. So if the meet is any time before 8th, I will come by and take a look.

I'm planning to purchase a TL, possibly with a 18" alloy wheel, in TO, Ontario, in a few months and was just wondering how much it would cost for it (TL with and without 18" alloy wheel) in TO after all the taxes, frieight charge, & discounts (or how much discount will I be able get from the dealers in TO from the MSRP shown in the acura.ca website in general)? For those who purchased a TL in TO, how much did it cost you and how much discount did you get? Did you get a good deal and (if you did) where and who did you purchase it from?
Also, I was wondering which 18" alloy wheels look the best while the cost is reasonable? Do the prices (of the two 18" wheels) shown in the acura.ca website reasonable? Sorry.. too many questions.. I just thought (by reading some of the replies that) most users in acuraworld.com were kind enought to answer other users' questions in details with their knowledge. Any comment(s)/suggestion(s) would be very apprecaited.. Have a great day! |

sevendayz,
New to AW. I just picked up my 2005 TL three weeks ago. Great car!! I have a Navy with Camel interior with Navi. The 2005s are discounted now and they even have a 3.9% lease rate. List was $44,300 plus Freight and PDI which I don't believe are negotiable. I managed to get it for $42,300 plus freight and pdi. They tried to stick me with $299 security etching charge which I refused to pay and didn't. Mine has the 17" wheels. Considering winter package.I believe the 2006s are pretty firm on price as well, the lease rate is 5.9% |
