Check engine light?

I busted a pretty quick U turn the other day, and right after, something popped up on the touched screen.

I didnt really look was it said, because my girlfriend was changing songs, she pressed "Check Later"

she said it said something like "blah blah blah..." gave option to "CHECK NOW" and "CHECK LATER"

then I noticed my "check engine came on"
car = 2007 tl-s

does anyone know what this possibly might be?

the info button on the nav should show the menu with the messages button in it and you should be able to rear the message that popped since it will still be stored there until you delete it. If you girlfriend was in the passanger seat when you made the quick you turn then my guess for the message will be about the pass side air bags being turned off since she probrably shifter her weight in the seat to one side instead of the center of the seat where the sensor wants to see the weight at. this would not however make your check engine light come that needs to be checked out. if the car is under warranty then it should be at no cost to you

just press the "info" button for the navi, then select "messages". You will be able to read and delete certain messages from that screen.

Rubasu is correct about everything he said. Just take it in, get it repaired for free, a car wash and vacuum, and your done.

Thanks for the info.

So I checked the messages it shows
Transmission System: P0843

and today when I was driving home, the D light (of P R N D L) kept on flashing. I was scared my car was going to breakdown in the middle of the highway, when I'm going about 65mph the RPM shot up to 5000. When I accelerate I can some how feel the engine losing power

I had the same problem with my 98. It was a bad torque converter. I kept driving it, as you are, and had to replace both the transmission and torque converter. Get the trouble codes read out and take action as indicated by the code. Be sure to use original acura parts.
