Price for 08 when 09 is introduced?
I am going to be looking for a car in October/November and that is when the new 09 TLs are supposed to be coming in. And since I like the current gen. I was wondering how much you think a dealer would be letting the 08s go for. I was thinking $29K for a currently price $36K TL with Navigation.
Sound right? or am I being a bit over enthusiastic??? |

I could be wrong, but I won't count on getting any great deals in the Fall.

Figure that they will stop production of the current TL soon, if they haven't already. After retooling and building invnetory for the release, there won't be a lot of '08 TLs left in inventory. Last month, the TL outsold the MDX as Acura's top model. I bought one for $30,500 w/o navigation. They have special rebates and financing on TLs. I doubt you will get a navi for under $32-33K, espcially as supplies dwindle. Honda did not fire-sale the last gen Accords when the new one came out. Not to say you won't get a good deal @ $32-33K for a navi.

I got my 07 TL w/ Navi at the end of 2007 when only 2 were left in the dealer lot. We tried hard to bargain the price down but the dealer won't budge anything lower than 31K which is what we end up paying. But that is a good 5.5K I saved from the sticker price not to mention less tax, so I was happy with it.
But then again, I can be wrong because 08 is a last year they will make 3rd gen model which might give u a little better bargain power. Not sure though. |

I just picked up an 08 on the 7th of this Month, got an awesome deal! They want to move these out! But I am willing to bet pretty soon they will not deal so much because as said earlier the 09 is not looking as good as the current 3rd gen.

That is definitely the way I am thinking. All the insiders I hear of are saying that the new gen TL will be "awesome". I'm basing my gut feeling on the new TSX coming off meh, and the new RL coming off ooking foogly.
I really, really hope that I'm wrong on this.

yea, based on the supposed pictures, it doesn't look that good to me. But on the bright side when I drove by my local Acura dealer today they had a truck load of new TL's and another one with TSX's. So I hope that they have some come october.

I'm picking up my TL with Nav this coming Saturday. Got a price under $31K. Stoked!
BTW - The price for the TL with Nav on carsdirect.com just went up $600. No sign of prices going down... |

Is that the On Road Price?
Hi there - Is that the final out the door price? Man if that is the case, I must say its a steal. The best quote I have is 33.5 on road. Where are you located and what did they quote you initially?
Thanks! Bhag. |

Edmunds has a consumer discussion area on 2008 pricing:
There's lots of good info being shared regarding prices paid for 2008's. Good luck. Kevin Modesto, CA |
