SETTING SEAT MEMORY

So I decided to take over the lease over my sister-in-law's 2005 TL. I've tried everything to change the settings of the driver's seat to my preferences. But to no avail. I'm starting to think it's not me. I would think it's pretty easy to set but again I've tried everything.

Instructions anyone? Let me know. This is annoying the Sh$t out of me!

You may want to have it checked. I had the relay (I think that's what it's called) replaced for free in mine under a TSB notice.

Does the seat move? It just doesn't memorize the setting you leave it at? IIRC, as soon as you press the "Memory" button and hear the beep, you have to press the number (1 or 2) immediately. There should be two beeps after to confirm the new setting has been stored.

Power options do work. I.e. the seat does go back and forth/ recline and decline.

I don't getting any beeps when I hold down buttons. I will have to take to the dealership and get it checked out.

It's a very faint quick beep. You only press it once and let go quickly.

Hope the dealer can sort it out for you.
