Thinking to purchase 07 TL-S... need advice :)

Hello guys, I'm thinking to get a new car and going to spend no more than $32,500. I was looking for used 07 TL-S, and there are all around $30,000.
However, I found one black 07 TL-S w/ 18,800miles on it and manual transmission.... and this car costs only $16,000!!!

I checked the Vin number on Carfax, and it is a clean car, no accidents, and only one private owner. Do you guys think I should go with this car?

I'm just little worried, because that car is toooo cheap. What do you guys think?

Sounds waaaaaaaaay too good to be true, I would have to think there is an issue with that car. I would suggest a vehicle inspection service for sure. Most used 07 Type s cars are selling between $30-35K, you should be able to snatch up a certified car for what you are looking to spend...... be leary of that one for $16K

Hi
I have attached you some photos of the car. I will be back in July this
year. We can close the transaction through eBay.
I'm offering you a secure deal and the car will be inspected on arrival by
eBay staff. You'll receive the car papers along with the car!

Here is how the process works:

- you give me your shipping address,
- I start a transaction on eBay Motors,
- they send you the payment instructions,
- you send the money into eBay trust account,
- they confirm me that they received the funds,
- I ship the car,
- you receive the car,
- they send me the money.

They will hold the money until the car is delivered to you, with properly
executed title. You will have 5 days for inspection. If the car is not like
described you will have to ship it back in 30 business days on my expense,
but I am sure that you will love it.

In order to move forward I will need your full name and address.

EBay will get in touch with you for further details and instructions.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

My home is only 5 minutes from Rensselaer, so I don't need any shipping
or like that. Is there any family that can run the transaction for you?

Hi
The car is located in Idaho now, ready to be delivered. I don't have someone to take care of the transaction. That is whay I have proposed to use eBay. You will have 5 days to inspect and return the car if it will not be as described.

Yea... you guys were right... damn. Should I call the police? lol

I wouldn't touch that deal with a 1000-foot pole! If the vehicle is as he claims, he could do much better on a trade or just by selling it outright to CarMax or a non-corporate dealer.

Shoot, my '04 TL (6MT with Navi and 58k miles) is worth more than what he's asking!

Sounds like a typical Internet scam to me. When trying to sell my last motocycle on Craig's List, I received several inquiries from shady people telling me weird stuff like they'd even pay more than what I was asking. I reported these emails to Craig's List. I was going to send them to the FBI but never got around to it.

I wouldn't buy it if I were you. sounds kinda like one scam my cousin was involved in. There was this ad on Ebay about a nissan silva with very low miles and in great condition. The guy wanted 6k for which was a great deal if you ask me. My cousin sent over the money to the seller and never got the car. He was scammed out of his money. The story that the guy told you in the emails seems to be similar to the one the guy that scammed my cousin.
