We're gonna bro. Right now we're concentrating on getting our new vb3 site up and running - then we'll work on the domains. Thanks for the good ideas - keep em coming.

I'm not sure what you mean by white flag...?

We let the domain expire since we weren't using it and aren't into competition with other sites.

I see that acurazine pounced on the domain the second we let it go... Oh well, personally, it doesn't seem that productive for us to hold on to a ton of domains that we don't use... it costs money (even if it is a small amount) and it is a little unfair to the members... it is probably better to use the money to better the site.

you can still come to acuraworld for all your acura discussion needs... especially RL info.

acuraworld has great info and discussion on the RL already... perhaps, acurazine can beef up their puny RL section with the acura-rl.com acquisition, but for now… the area is pretty pitiful… they would do right by their membership to direct RL traffic to us…

…but that probably won’t happen, since apparently “acuraworld” is a no no over there... any mention of acuraworld will probably get you banned… and even vendors that happen to sponsor us have been subject to the acurazine ban-hammer… case in point… hondacuraworld’s Tim is banned over at acurazine because he would not agree to sponsor acurazine exclusively… now maybe that is good for acurazine business, but the members are denied a chance to benefit from Tim’s great pricing and service… who wins? Not their member’s.

acuraworld (at least the way I see it) doesn’t care… if a member find a great price on something they can post to their hearts content… although we do prevent vendors from self promoting so that the site doesn’t end up looking like a giant site of spam ads.

And links to acurazine or any other topical site are still allowed here… cause we understand that there may be information there that we don’t have.

Oh and btw, Diva, welcome to acuraworld!

you know, i was very greatful that you guys were so friendly, and i do see exactly what you are talking about. you are somehow considered their competition by the admin there. It would be soo great if you guys would just peace it up and move on, i mean both boards share suych a common interest, and each have their own characteristics which any one member can appreciate. Unfortunetly, I have been given an ultimatim, and I was not allowed to advertise on both boards. From a survey i took, it ends up with me having to stay there due to simple sales stats. I did not make this decision easilly, your courtesy or sales figures was what I based my decision on. Hopefully we can all have this matter resolved. Thank you.

Wow, the class of AT-L just shinned through again. Nothing against you, Ron. It was a business decision the way I see it. I am sure the AW staff feels the same way.
