Car 1: 91 Legend |
Interior restoration forum.
I am in the proccess of restoring the interior on my 91 Legend and have some usfull info. I would not want it to be legend specific as it would apply to all cars. and im sure that some other people my be able to help me out also.

awesome... frankly I would post it in the legend sections and then let a mod know that you think it would be usefull for other people... then we can try to enter it as a general DIY for our still-being-imporved DIY section..
we are still working out the best way to present information like this to our members... thanks for the suggestion... can't wait to see how it turns out ![]()

I do not exactly agree with putting in a DIY or DIY still being improved upon. In my opinion restoration would need its own open forum as it would evolve alot faster that way. Allowing members that may want to post questions about what they can do and not do or what they have learned.

hmmm.. I think I see what you are getting at...
humor me a little... I would assume that such a section would be posted in the "shop talk" section... and perhaps near the detailing section... I would guess that most people looking to resore their interior would look for actual OEM pieces or peices designed specifically for their car... if so, my guess is that they would go to the section that coincides with their car model... I'm not sure that many people would be looking to craft new seat covers or fashion new dash pieces as one offs... I don't know of any acuras rare enough that there are no parts available except as custome pieces... I'm just playing devils advocate here... I'm not saying that it's not a good idea. I'm just wondering if it merits an entire section. for example we have brake change infor separately, based on model, in most of the individual forums, even tho, for the most part one DIY could probably work for all acura models... but people usually go to their specific model first and if they don't see it in their model's sections, they assume that help is not available...
