i don't get it? it's like a spam admin or something? i don't get why they posted a sticky in each section and the dedicated a section to themself...
if this is a preferred vendor then why not just leave it in the preferred vendor section? not to bitch, but i know i don't wanna see adds "stickied" to sections when i go into them, the reason why i signed up for the VIP membership was to: 1. support AW and previous owner's interests in this forum as a friend. 2. not to see ads if i want to check out some new products and vendors, i'll happily check out the preffered vendors section and contribute.

This is an advertising platform that is a 3rd party plugin, we do not have fine grained controls over it like we do with the other forms of advertising. However, it usually only runs for 2 weeks and after all, it is a simple sticky thread that can be easily ignored.

ken, i think what he was saying is that after 2 weeks another ad will be put in the place of the one that's one there now. but i'm just guessing
