1994-1996 integra questions
hey,
i ment 1994-2000 integra i am looking to buy my first car which i hope will be an 2dr acura integra . I have done a little research on these cars and have not really found anything wrong with them. The questions that i have are about the realiability of the car? what normally is the first thing that fails other then the timing belt? how many K/M can you normally get out of them? Is buying one with 200 000 K/M on it a mistake or should i buy one with less. The things i plan on doing is getting a air intake, exhaust, rims/tires, and a body kit to make it look like a type r. make sure your main seals are sealed
get a compression check check the cv boots and brakes listen for strange noises when you're driving it or just make the seller take it to honda and get an inspection report for you

200k km is still young for a honda engine that's been properly taken care of. Belts should be replaced every 60-80k miles (don't know how many km that is, damn the imperial system). One of the things that I always do, regardless of vehicle past maintenance history is a 80k mile service with belts and water pump.
