2.5 inch exhaust - Acura Forum

Hey guys Im planning on doing a custom 2.5 inch exhaust once winters over and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on any parts like a header, cat, resonator and muffler.

How much money are you working with??????.......... Are you on somewhat of a Budget??

Im trying to stay under 1,000 preferably around $700-$800 I know the header is going to be the most expensive cause I want to piece it all together and get it welded at a shop.

megan header/dc header, carsound cat, custom piping, maybe stock resonator, shouldnt be more than 5-600

Are the megan headers 2.5? Ive never seen any measurements for there headers so I dont know

Just a suggestion:
Greddy headers $315
2.25 custom piping $200
magnaflow resonator $40
magnaflow high flow cat $120
__________________________
$675 plus more with muffler of your choice.

I don't know if you would want to go with 2.5 inch because most headers come in 2.25 outlet.

The only header I've seen with 2.5 outlet was in the other thread about headers but that one was only available with the GSR.

on team-integra.com they tunerzimage is selling a hytech replica 2.5 header for $400. That is my only option right now

Hahaha, Tunerz Image is a sister company to JVT Racing (the company I work for). As far as the cat-back piping, I'd reccomend going to www.k-teller.com and getting their pipe kit w/ magnaflow mufflers. Also since you're a LS, 2.25" should be more then enough.

Yeah for what you are trying to spend you can buy a quality setup.
