92 integra ls engine swap
I own a 1992 acura integra ls but it is back in the states im currently in japan. It is completly stock and has a lot of miles but i'm currently looking for a new engine to put in it instead of the stock B18A1 and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me i'm thinking about putting in a Honda B18C GSR JDM Engine Integra Civic DOHC VTEC. let me know if you have any sites that i could look at the site i found B18C on is a complete engine and tranny for 2,500 with only 35k miles.

you copy that from the eBay ad? price sounds right to me. i've looked up a few gsr motors and that was about the going rate. the only cheaper ones had things missing.

you should be able to pick up a gsr motor for alot cheaper than that. or you could always go with a b16. but since you are in japan, get the motor there! they should be hella cheap

I'd spend $4,000 and buy a 94+ gsr car unless you plan on dropping in the motor yourself?

Call me a traditionalist, but I always like to see people consider going turbo on an LS or a D series, before they decide they want to do a motor swap. The motor swap is a labor of love if it is going into a car that isnt going to be raced in some class with restrictive rules (disp etc etc), and the gains are really nominal compared to what you could get for the same cash out of a turbo. Just my $.02
