?Adding power parts to 93' fueling question?
Do you need to adjust the fueling on an Integra motor when you add more performance oriented pieces? Such as an larger intake and exhaust combo? On bike you NEED to or you'll fuck the motor up in the long run, but I'm curious if the car is smart enough to tweak the fueling itself? I'm really interested in adding a small shot of nitrous to such a big (relative term) motor.
Heres a pic of my favorite ride! If you want real speed this is the ticket! Gets a lot of tickets though... ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance to the Teg' gods at this forum! ![]() |

Ok, did a little research myself (imagine that!) and figured out that if I'm going to be hopping up a car motor that I'll still be looking at some new engine management. I'll be researching that...

If you are simply adding I/H/HFC/E then the stock timing will be fine since your power adders are not aggressive enough to yield any tunning.
However, if you are doing cams, intake manifold and a Head job (p/p, bigger I/E valves etc.) or any type of Forced induction (IE: nos, s/c or turbo) then timing and fuel curves are important. Those need to be changed with upgrades. |

Damn, all I really want is NOS. I don't want the "aggressive" (annoying) sound associated with the usual mods on a car such as this. I want a smooth, reliable car, with a little boost when needed.
