aftermarket tach install

I purchased an aftermarket tachomter. I also bought a Haynes manual so I could figure out what wire to hook my tach up to. It has be kinda confused and I dont wanna mess anything up by hooking it up to the wrong blue wire. My question is what wire and where is it located do I hook my tach up to? I looked under my dash but theres many blue wires going everywhere. Thanks.

Not to be a scumbag, but what's the point of having 2 tachs in the car?

Unless there is something wrong with the stock one, there really isn't a point in putting in an aftermarket one. Well, unless your super desperate to have a shift light.

I guess there is no ponit other than I just like the tach I bought. So I thought I would ask a simple question of where to hook up the green tach wire. Forget it I will ask someone else that wont just ask stupid questions in return....All I wanted was a simple answer. Thanks guys.
