automatic transmission pulser

ok, i got a 92 ls integra...automatic...and my tranny went out so i bought 1 from a wrecking yard and when i brought it home i was looking at it and the glass on the automatic transmission pulser was broken!! so i decided since my old tranny was still in my garage id just pull the 1 off my old tranny. When i took the 1 off my old tranny this 1 wasnt glass...its all metal?

will it make any difference?

will it work on my other tranny?

if not ima just buy ANOTHER tranny for $50 from a wrecking yard by my house

EDIT: nevermind i found out that acura changed it from glass to a metal upgrade on the newer trannys
