body work and painting

well I've decided my biggest project this summer is my exterior. Since I got my car in October '07 I've really wanted to repaint it because some parts are an off white. Well a few months ago my LS spoiler was stolen off my car in the middle of the night leaving two big holes, and about 3 days ago I was at work and came out to my car to see someone clipped my rear bumper and scraped it up and now its hanging off. So my plans are to bondo and fill the holes of the spoiler and somehow fix my bumper which I really don't know how I am going to do that because when it was hit the rusted bolt popped out. I plan doing all that and sanding down my car and suing an air compressor to spray a few coats of paint on. So basically I would like a lot of advice/suggestions/opinions/input from any member. I'm really wondering what to do about the bondo, and what kind of paint to use, how to fix my bumper etc etc.

Thank You

have u ever done any bondo work be4?

how bad is ur rear bumper? got any pics of it?

when u paint it and clear coat it make sure u do a good number of clear coat layers on ur car, and make the clear have more layers towards the front of ur car that will protect it from rock chips

well the secret to bondo is to apply it, sand, apply more, sand, apply more, sand again and repeating this process until its so smooth that you can close your eyes and rub the area and not feel and change in surface texture.
here are some pics of the engine bay we did

and the finished product:

well i mean, bondo is pretty self-explanatory. you mix in the hardener, apply and let dry then you can begin sanding. thats about it. just make sure not to over-apply or you'll be sanding away tons of excess that'll just take more time.

And don't over do the hardener, or things get real sticky real fast.
