Car 1: 2001 Integra GS-R
Can anything else go wrong?

So last wednesday, as I was attempting to leave the club, my car wouldn't start, well, to be more precise, it would start and then immediately die. So I had it towed to the mechanics that night. No code was thrown so he tried to let it run to see if it would stall out and die, but it never did, so he cleared the CEL it was throwing and gave it back to me. Tuesaday morning as I was driving home my car stalled, numerous times, a couple of the times it sounded like one of the cylinders was rubbing against the wall as it the engine came to a stop. So now it looks like I've got to take apart my engine and check everything out, I think it may be related to a mysterious rattle I've been hearing since the lifters were re-tightened, i was hoping it was the common heat shield rattle, but now it appears as though it's not, but I still need to get under there to check. I need to just take a autoshop class so I can check my engine every few months since it appears I am too hard on the racing version of the Integra engine.

it didn't have a code for the stalling, but it was throwing a code for running rich, sorry for the confusion.

If it sounds like that I woudln't be surprised if you have some crankwalk going on. Crankwalk is when the crankshaft moves left to right and causes rubbing. If enough rubbing occurs the computer could sense this and shut the engine off.

So I take it the easiest way to check is taking off the oil pan? Would I be able to move it bodily from left to right?

have you checked your ignition switch? i am not sure that is what it is, but it could be

i don't think its the ignition switch rews, it does dies seemingly at random, whether I'm touching the key or not.

so what do I tighten or adjust? and do you know the torques specs, I can't find them in my manual.
