also though you might want to get that checked out. most parts stores diagnose for free, autozone, checker, napa etc...
could be somthing you could fix yourself save some money in the long run

Isn't a 1991 OBD0? You shouldn't need a code reader to pull the code. There is a small screen on the ECU. Or is the 91 DA an OBD1 computer? Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I have a '96 and also need to reset my check engine light. How do I do it myself? Would rather not take my baby to a place like AutoZone and if there's a way to do it w/o disco'ing the battery, that would def be preferable.

You've got a 96 so your ecu is OBDII. Just go down to Autozone and have them plug in a reader to check the codes. They don't disconnect the battery.

You need a engine code reader to reset it. Why don't you want to take it to AutoZone (or anywhere like that)? They'll do it for free, and it'll only take them a minute to do it.

If you don't have a reader, the only way to do it yourself is to disconnect the battery.
