Cleaning up exterior

My white teg has imperfections on the paint. For example on the rear bumper, there are many many small fragments of some element, which make the surface a bit rough or grainy. The lower part of the front bumper has many black-ish looking stains. And along the sides there are like hand prints and some light black grease stains. I tried clay bar, and it seemed to kinda take off the black stains on the sides. But it did nothing to the rear bumper and I am not sure about the front.

How I clean this stuff up??

I mean I paid $20 for a clay kit and I got two really small bars. They barely enough for anything.

I got the same kit, the clay bars last a while, just use one and keep folding it over, it's not the cleanliness that matters but the stickiness of them.

Does it really??

I would like to try it. But... Does it harm the paint at all??

Also.. I heard clay bar takes off paint. I mean like a minuscule amount at a time. Not really visible unless you were to clay your car for a really long time. Is this true or is it bs?

Windex has ammonia in it, the ammonia helps get greese off.

I would still give your car a good waxing after using the windex. Did it once by accident.

A clay bar takes of the very smallest amount of clear coat. You would probably have to go through a couple hundred claybars in order to get under the clearcoat. And I mean in an area about an inch by an inch.

You might look into a fine cut cleaner or even a polishing compound. Both are more agressive than the claybar and should do wonders to clean up your paint when applied properly. Also a mechanical buffer can make a huge difference too. Those are a little more expensive however.
