getting an integra again! (i hope)
alright as some u kno i used to own a 92' LS and i sold it sadly =(
if all goes as planned im gonna be getting a 90' integra LS 5 spd. it has the stock B18A1 motor but has B16 tranny, lowered on coilovers, z4 fenders, intake.... the car however does have 1 problem....it runs and drives great dont smoke or anything but after driving the car and turning it off u have to jump start it, any ideas? my thoughts are....bad alternator, or bad battery...im kinda ruling out the alternator as once its started it will run until u shut it off and if im correct bad alternator the car would only run until the battery died, and bad battery the car will run off the charges off the alternator any other info would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks! PS: if i dont get this integra and he sells it be4 i have the chance to get it im still getting a 91-93 integra cause their SEXYYYYYYYY Last edited by 92integ : 08-18-08 at 05:15 AM. |

well, not that this has anything to do with it other than my personal preference, but ugh, is that body kit and hood going to stay? to this day I will never understand how or why that looks good
![]() anyway, I'd be likely to say battery as well, the alternator is taking a beating though without the battery in place, plus I think after 16 years both the battery and alternator should be replaced if not already previously done.

Sounds like the battery dropped a cell. Best off to get a new batt. Depending on how long its been like that, you may want to replace the alt. with a nice reman unit.

alright i have a question about flywheels...
on this other integra its a 90' with B18C1 swap it has a bad flywheel but after talking more with the guy he told me he has replaced the flywheel 3 times so far, he has owned the car for 5 yrs so im guessing he has replaced 3 times in last 5 yrs....what would cause this???? (some pics of car and engine are in previous posting) |

I'm thinking that in combination with the guy thrashing the car like it was his job...I'd be wary.
