going to look a integra
well one of my friends is planning on buying an integra soon and she wants me to look at it for her. i know a lot about cars and acuras but... i was just wondering if there were any little things to look out for when looking the car over and driving it.
the car is a 1997 integra ls. 5 spd. two door.

Another Masshole!
 Nothing special to look for really, but I'd check the engine for oil leaks, cause on one of my tegs both the valve and oil pan gaskets started leaking around 150k. Check and make sure the sunroof works properly too, since those seem to have problems every now and then, but other than that there's not too much that usually goes wrong with these cars.

Engine leaks is huge also. As mentioned vavle cover and oil pans are notrious when these motors get high miles. I also replaced my alternator 3 times in 2 different Integras. This is tought to check, but a simple quick check would be to have someone watch the headlights as you rev the engine a little. Any dimming while getting off throttle will tell you the alternator is gettin to be on its way out. Those are pretty much the areas I always seemed to have problems with. All in all, these are small correctable problems. If these cars are well taken care of (and left stock  ) they are almost bullet proof
