gsr manual transmission fluid???

Been wanting to change my manual tranny fluid in my gsr and am just not sure how much it takes? Its a '96 gsr. Going with the Amsoil fluid because I've had extremely good luck with their synthetic oil.

you fill it up until some dribbles out the fill hole. I want to say a little more than 2 quarts.

It takes 2.3 quarts to be exact, but like coldfire said it will dribble out when you've filled it to the max. When you open the filler-plug and stick your finger in it you'll be able to feel the flat spot on the bottom inside-edge and that is what the fluid should be level to.

Make sure to clean anything that the tranny oil dribbles on with a ph-balanced cleaning solution; it will eat through your CV-boots.
