help me get my hood popped!

yeah so i have a 1993 rs i bought a couple months back. it had a hood relocation switch but my dumbass pulled really hard on the cable when it was frozen and i ripped it out.

so after using vice grips to get my hood popped ever since then i finally ripped all of the cable completely out on accident.

so then i tried my hood latch and it worked to my amaze. now today it just stopped working. i took the kick panel off and pulled on it extra hard with vice grips but i cant get it popped.

is there a way i can open it my tampering with the latch through the hood with a screwdriver or something. i have a radiator leak and now i cant dr ive anywhere too far without it over heating cause i cant top the fluid off. so any ideas plz let me know!

u still got some hood latch cable left? if so on ur hood in the very front where it dips down between the lights on the passenger side right at the curve...take a piece of strong wire or something and make a hook at the end of it and stick it between the curve and bumper and u should be able to grab the hood latch cable and pop ur hood open

ok heres a pic of my 92 integra and im pretty sure ur hood latch cable is gonna be in the same spot, it will be somewhere in that red box in the pic...so stick ur piece of metal/wire or what u plan to use in there and just kinda feel around till u snag it and pull it and pop open ur hood

damn i already dropped it off at good year last night. first time ive had an actual shop work on my car i just gave up after much frustration.

but im not even sure if the line was there cause i couldnt find it. i think it might have been routed different because there use to be a relocation line to pull on. oh well thanks anyways lol.
