Holla.

Hey guys, Im Thomas
Wondering if you guys could help me out. I am absolutely in love with integras no joke. Selling my car to get one. Hard to find one around where i live but ive managed to track one down for sale. Its a 1996 Acura Integra RS? 5 speed standard. The only problem i have is That its at 270,000kms. Which is the only thing keeping me from buying it. Whats the hp for an RS model? The guy selling it told me 150?

Here are a few pics of it

I can get it for 1775$, Apparently the motor is in great shape runs well, will pass inspection. The only thing is 270, 000kms is that alot for an integra? should i get it??

I never look at the actual miles on a honda/acura
if you can do a compression test.
but the body looks good and a RS is a good platform car. I would offer him 1,500 for it.
rs b18 should be 140hp

HP 142 @ 6300 RPM
Torque (lbs-ft) 127 @ 5200 RPM

The RS is the lightest trim.

A compression test checks if the engine has good compression. It will tell you if there are any problems with the valves, rings, pistons, or blown head gasket.

If it drives great and you like it, go for it. Bargain them for a lower price though.

Nope only the GS-R, and Type R are Vtec, you could always do a engine swap.

ok first off...kilometers??? where do you live.. second 270000 is a good plus for YOU to lower the price...even if you know its a steal... i would take the man like 1400 hundred cash and tell him all i could come up with, and if he still wont budge, then pull out the rest if you really want the car...looks good...
rs model is the base integra model of that year....so basically just a standard car, might be missing some options..moonroof,power win.locks...who knows..there all diff, if he didint order it special with somethings other then other...id have to take that bra of it tho, makes it look lika mexican ride,..lol...ne way...car dosent look bad...good shell most def...hows the trany? he says the motors good, what else.... whats oil look like, doed it smell when started,exaust?....y he selling, what are you selling for it?....whats your plans for this car..?

Im selling my 1994 Mazda MX3 GS. Hmm my plans for this car is to obviously do it up, I wanted to buy a stock car and do it my self, this seems like an awesome car to start with. Haven't taken it for a test drive yet though the guy lives 3 hours away so :S
