Integra for winter driving?

Hey,
So winter is coming soon to my part of the world, and i'm curious to see how many people drive their integras throughout winter. For those Who do I would appreciate some input on how they handle the conditions.

Dave.

They're pretty stable. When I had my Integra's I ran studded Copper tires all around and it wasn't too bad. I had one lowered, that was a bad idea. FYI

This will be my first winter with my Integra also, I'm just going to pick up a set of Blizzak tires and change the wipers, and see how it goes.

Thanks for the input. But I really don't want to chance driving my teg during the winter. I couldn't look at myself in the mirror if I wrecked it, so I bought a beater ford last night for the winter.

^^^^^^ Snow Bunny^^^^^^

I've lived in VT for about 8 years give or take off and on and I don't have a single snow pic of my cars.

Mine Sucked in the snow with the original tires that came with my Integra when I bought it new. My teg sit in the garage all winter along with my Benz. I drive both of my SUVs in the winter. With hardly get that much snow here in D.C.

With all season tires (or snow tires if you want to drop that kind of cash) almost any front wheel drive vehicle will do well in the snow. This is because the weight of the motor is right over the drive wheels
Ground clearance is the only issue that pops up for cars like the integra and civic. If they can't get OVER the snow then they aren't going to be able to get through.

Haha very old thread. I ended up driving the teg for half the winter. It did better than my 4x4 F150 did.Trucks are a waste of money and gas !!!

Unless you need to move something like a full size couch or another car. Driving in the winter is more about how you drive, not what you drive. Though 2 wheels would be pretty stupid.
