I can tell you right now that the guys here are going to need a better description of what the car will do and won't do.

Fill in some details, and the folks in this forum can help you a lot.

are you getting spark to your spark plugs?
when you turn the key to the second position do you hear the fuel system prime?
if you have both of those working, it could be many other things. start with those though

well since it wont even turn over id think starter aswell, and since u can pop start it then id think it is getting fuel and spark...so I think starter OR electrical, all i can really say is check ur wires on starter see if any are loose, if not then u might wanna get new 1 or go have that 1 tested

also, if u got jumper cables hook them to ur car and see if u can jump start it

Distributer? I don't think the starter going bad will cause your car to stall... A bad distributor will though. Check to see if you getting spark by pulling one spark plug wire and hold a screw driver to end of it while someone starts to crank. If you get a spark on the end of the screw driver then its not the distributor or the wires

EDIT: If it pop starts, then its not the distributor. Sorry

If it is your starter though and you keep trying to start it you will probably start to see smoke coming from it since it will be getting really hot from getting juice but doing nothing.

he said he can pop start it, so that would eliminate the spark and fuel.....cuz if it can start by pop starting then its obviously gettin spark and fuel

he said it wont turn over...starter?

some ppl call it pop starting but its also called compression starting...like say ur car is a stick and ur on a hill put it in 2nd gear and push clutch in and when u roll to around 15mph or so let clutch out and it will turn over ur engine which turns alternator creating electricity which then gives u ur spark and fires the cylinders thus starting ur car
