Mod Guide/List

Why doesnt someone make a Mod Guide/List for the the noobs like myself for the Third generation (1994–2001) coupe & sedan.. Sample list since there's alot of threads asking about the same question.

People don't usually read the stickies here when they join the forums, but it's worth a shot. Instead of telling them to search here or on the net, we'll just link 'em to the list.

there really cant be a "list" or "guide"
1 everyones budget is different
2 people have different tegs ie gsr or ls, 5 spd or auto
3 people have different goals, ie dd, drag, street, autoX, turbo, sc, na
so when people want advice they need to supply the info on what they have and what they want out of it

All the better reason to make it a guide rather than just a list. You can have sections for...

1. NA, Turbo, Supercharger, Nitrous
2. Street, Drag, AutoX, Track, etc.
3. Suspension, Engine, Bodywork, etc.

As for the different teg models... not sure on that, that's something we'd have to write up for the different engines and 2dr/4dr body styling, whatnot.

You can always list 'ballpark' prices on items so users can start pricing stuff out. You can also offer out guides for 'setups that already work' or whatnot. Maybe a difficulty rating on doing the mod yourself...

BTW, these are just my ideas and I'm not putting myself in the position to make it.

Yes, we saw it. You can make a list all you want, but you're going to get a point to where people will be asking if it'll fit their B18B, B18C engine, will it fit on a 2 door or a 4 door, etc? You'll have to make the list more extensive and detailed since there are different engines and different generations for the teg; it's going to be a lonnnnnnng list.

I think the best plan of action to not allow new members to post unless they contact a mod who grants them permission to force them to search. After a week or so, then grant them the abilit to make post.

This allows them to search the generic questions that are regurgitated over and over by new comers.

Like stated above, there are too many variables too account for for an effectve "mod list."

The classic quality Vs quantity.
