NEW ROTORS 4 TEG
I need to replace front rotors and probably pads on my 94 teg ls. What are good options besides the standards at my local Advance Auto, etc...? Suggestions?
Thanks. Dave

Looking for higher quality
What I'd like to know is if there is, or are, brand(s) of rotor(s) and perhaps pads that are higher quality than what Advanced, A-Zone, or C-Quest offer? I've been going through rotors like crazy recently on all my vehicles - lots of warpage happening. Too much cheap stuff in market. It's driving me nuts, not to mention taking up too much of my time with all the running around it takes to get these things turned or replaced under warranty.
I've been looking into cryo treated rotors, ie. Frozen Rotors, and the like. Any more thoughts are appreciated.Thanks. Dave

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into the Brembo. Think I saw some on sale.
Cheers!

You can get brembo rotors at advance. I got powerslot rotors and hawk HPS pads from there. You used to be able to get stoptech kits too if you knew the right person to talk to.

I got brembo slots and hawk hps in front, all stock in rear. The hawk pads grip so much better than stock, and the rotors dont get as hot as quick under heavy braking. Been reliable so far, got almost 15k on them and still feel 100%.

Do you happen to wash your vehicles right after driving them? If that's the case, the cool water on the hot rotors might be causing them to warp over time. Otherwise... I'd recommend Brembo.
