Yah I did it with 3 buddies and some spray cans. 2 of us sanded the whole thing with sandpaper in a parking lot and then took it to an abandoned garage where the tenants had moved out and we sprayed painted the whole car with 2 coats. I let it sit for a week and then I wet sanded it with 600 grit sandpaper and waxed. It looks pretty good and it only costed me about 70 bux in spray cans.

I would totally go with Tein but my price range is more in the 500 dollar range at the moment. Also, I hear coilovers are tought to keep locked in at the height you wanted them so I was planning on just getting some springs with a 2 inch drop, eibachs most likely, and install them and leave em.

i have tein flex coils, they have not moved an inch through much abusive driving, I never heard of coils moving, but then I didn't even adjust mine out of the box, just went with the set ride height.

I can't tell you which is worth more for the money, since I never went with springs, but if you plan on upgrading eventually, why not just take more time to save up and do it right the first time.

Yah seriously, but I do know that there are a few "friendly" smog stations/operators that will just check for emissions. My car just passed smog 3 months ago (before the mods) and it had a bad o2 sensor!

You'll just make more work for yourself later if you get springs and then get coilovers. Plus, half the time with springs, you'll probably need to replace struts anyway, so why not just go coilover?

im planning on doing springs and struts, I know that if you lower your car you need aftermarket struts. I have just heard that some coilovers are unreliable, im not saying not to get them, everyone is entitled to get whatever they want. Also, this car is just a fun car, I plan on buying a manual GSR or some kind of Honda in the near future (after i graduate hopefully) and turning that into my project car, on that car I plan on breaking the bank. My integra is an auto so there is only so much that I can do with it in an economical way ya kno?
