no dc logo = FAKE???? - Acura Forum

so as u can see by my sig i say i have dc headers i put it up after i recieved the headers but before i installed them but any way last night we went to put them in and relized the new headers only had a place for one o2 sensor and i needed two so they ordered me the wrong year after it took them 3 weeks to get them in!!! so i was pretty mad but then i looked around the header and realized there was no dc logo anywhere....i went on the dc sports website and it says somthin about "Reputation, quality and raw performance are the reasons why you will find the DC Sports tag welded onto the headers and exhaust systems of top racing teams and industry experts nationwide." and somewhere else it says "Most DC Sports headers are certified to comply with C.A.R.B. exemption standards and includes an Exemption Order (EO) on the welded metal DC Sports tag " and every picture ive seen has the logo. so i guess my question is does every dc header have the tag and did they give me fake ones?? either way im goin in and bitchin today!!

I thought the logo was supposed to be at the top of the manifold. If he handed it to you minus a box, he probably charged you for DC and ordered some no name piece of shit brand. Take it back and bitch you head off.

Yep, you bought a fake replica, most any quality header has a tag welded on the top so you can see it when looking at your engine. Why they put the tag on is for obvious reasons.

Like my greddy header that i havnt installed yet.

when I look at the dc sports website I didn't see any listing for 4-1 for a 1990 Integra
here what I got for 4-1 header, the only header they had for the 1990 Integra was 4-2-1 Two-Piece Header part number AHC6003, I guessing they sold you aDC Sports style"if you search ebay you notice some header are under 100 bucks

Go to the DC website and run a search on the part number. If nothing pops up then like I said before, you were screwed, bigtime

Was the part number on the invoice? What I would done is call the place your got the header from, and ask them if all the DC header they sale has the
E.O. C.A.R.B number on the header, if they said yes, ask them about there Race header which are not C.A.R.B Exempt,
you could also have DC Sports send you a C.A.R.B sticker
Give them a call at (310) 484-2322
anyways The part number is stamped on either the lower mounting bracket or on the head flange. The CARB EO # welded onto the header. I'm guess they did screw you.
