I'm thinking it's more that he has a REALLY desirable ride...sucks that some people can't respect other people's nice stuff. Here's hoping they get shot in a coke deal gone bad or something!

There really is no safe area in San Antonio, TX. Gated communities don't mean jack b/c people follow others in all the time or they just hop the fence. This is a pretty good area to live in actually (Northwest side) it's just very accessible to the highway and all that.

I think that is the general area my sister lives. You are making me glad she doesn't drive.

When you said Gated communities do you mean you live in a apartment?

I live in a area where you need to show them a ID that they give you, with a picture that show prove that you live there, any one without a id can't get in, if your a visitor they (the security) won't allow you to come unless they call the person that your coming to see, give you the ok.

I used to live in gated apartments, the gate really doesn't mean jack. Half the time, the gate was open, and if it wasn't, people would just chill by the entrance until someone with card access drove in and follow them inside. Once you're in, the gate usually opens automatically on the way out, so what's stopping a car thief, really? Not much.

Yep, I live in a gated apartment. My parents live in a gated neighborhood.

My friend lived in a apartment where they have wireless cams, which is connected to everyone T.V so all you had to do is change the channel to 3 or something like that.

I'm hoping they total it out. I mailed all the needed paperwork to the Insurance Adjuster today via Express mail, so she should have it Monday.

Anyways, if they total it, I plan on getting a used Honda S2000 (yellow or silver at the moment, white is nice but my previous 2 cars were white and I'm wanting some color); probably 2000-2003 years. My backup car is an RSX, but I'm not really feelin' it; I'd rather have the Integra again. Any suggestions on 2dr sports cars? I'm trying to limit myself to $15k-$17k max because I'm wanting to purchase a 2004+ Suzuki GSX-R 600 come Spring/Summer 2009.

How much do you guys think I should get from the insurance? 2000 GS-R, clean body & interior, 91k miles. I'm hoping for $10k, but that's probably wishful thinking.

I arranged with the apartments to let me transfer to a unit with a garage so I move in next weekend and that should take care of most car-security issues at my apartment.

What about a 350Z? Or do you prefer a Honda?

I've never really liked the 350z's. This video sums it up... YouTube - Fifth Gear - Nissan 350Z vs Honda S2000 Review

After the Integra I'm definitely hooked on Honda but I'm open to any other imports. The G35 Coupes have a sweet sound, but they look like they're heavy and not too sporty.
