Squeeking when I push clutch in??????

I have a 2001 integra gsr and when I push my clutch in it squeeks. I jumped under and I can hear it in my tranny. My buddy said it was the thro-out bearing because its dry and needs grease?? anybody ever had this problem?????????? its annoying but does not do anything to performance.

No, it squeaks right under the tranny anytime.

I'd be inclined to agree with your buddy then. Throwout bearing sounds like a good place to start and the probable culprit.

i believe a bad throw out bearing only makes noise when the car is running...

a bad throw out bearing will only make noise until you push the clutch in, once you push in the clutch if it is a bad throw out bearing it will stop making the noise.

if it is doing it with your car not running id start thinkin of other things, maybe your clutch pedal is making the noise, maybe its your pressure plate...
