sunroof

i went to open my sunroof the other day and i noticed that instead of going up all the way and the sliding back, it barely went up and started sliding back and ended up scratching the shit out of my roof. so i pushed it up and helped it get back to closed. when i went to open it again, it went up all the way like it normally did, but it made a loud cracking sound and then just went back like normal. it was able to close again fine. then everything was fine for a week.

now its starting to do the same thing again, not go up then start sliding back and scratching my roof again. has this happened to anyone else, or anyone know what i can do to fix it? or do i just need a new track?

im assuming you already checked to make sure the track was lined up after this happened / and or checked to make sure that there wasnt any crap stuck in the track? a lot of time its the stupid easy things like that that tend to be overlooked and people try looking to hard at the problem. btw, that totally sucks about your roof, my sympathy goes out to you
