Car 1: 1990 Acura Integra
Car 2: 1988 GMC 1500
Sunroof Question

I got a 1990 Acura Integra, and my sunroof opens with no problem but when i go to close it it only moves like a cm at a time unless i sit there and play with the for a while the it will close all the way. Anyone got an idea.

yea, the tracks probably just need cleaned out. Make sure they arnt all gunked up with crap, mine did the same thing.

If I am correct, there is a technical service bulletin about that problem. Common among tegs. A little white lithium grease does wonders.

what lubricant you use is simply a matter of choice. imho white lithium grease is the shit. I've seen it do amazing things. Others will swear that its the worst thing you can use.

I agree with coldfire on this one. White lithium aerosol cured the sticky windows in my 1Gen TL for over a year. It doesn't seem to attrack dirt as much as WD, and lasts longer than BreakFree.
