TipTronic is a auto tranny, that lets you shift like a 5 speed, with out the clutch if that makes any sense?

but its hella expensive, hella expensive to fix and not quite as reliable as a manual, and just up until recently can they shift as fast.

Just save your money, and buy a ls tranny, and other parts needed if you want a 5 speed, or look for a 5 speed teg.

I've never heard of any kind of aftermarket kit for that. As far as I'm concerned I'd much rather have the clutch, it really makes the difference in control as far as manual transmissions are concerned.

I never heard of a tiptronic kit as well, but "if" it could be done, I'm sure is going to cost a lot more then doing a speed conversion.
