Underglow kit!!??

Hi all, I have a sticky pproblem here. I have an underglow kit and I dont' know how to install it. I've had it for about a month and I dont' know what kind it is. It has the wires from all the lights. this little flip switch, i assume the on/off once installed. And a receiver for all the wires to go into. I dont' really know how to install it or configure the wiring. Any help would be gratefully appreciated!! Thanks a lot.

Those kits are so easy that if, no offense, you can't figure it out you should pay a stereo shop to install it for you.

I think you have been eating a lil bit to much RICE lately. Sorry to say but underglow kits are kinda ricey.

you know, those underglow kits break alot due to debree in the road flying up and hitting it, so you'd have to get a screen or somthing to protect it. If i were you, i'd have it done by a shop. Underglow kits can look ugly if you do a poor job installing it. I've never looked into it but i'd imagine a shop will install it for $100, + cost of the neons.

I just installed a blue neon kit on my truck so I'm not sure how much help I can be, but I would recommend getting some self-tapping screws. Your kit should have come with some type of plastic brackets that loop around the tube and mount somewhere on the chassis with the screws. Put your car on jack stands because your going to need enough space to drill screws into the bottom of the car. Start with the rear tube first. You want to find a place that is away from the exhaust or any moving parts. You might want to purchase some zip-ties to secure the wiring for the neons and the neons themselves. The brackets that came with mine seem pretty durable, but they may deteriorate over time so I used a couple of extra zip ties for the tubes. When securing the tubes to the chassis, make sure not to overtighten the screws. You might have a hard time finding a place to mount the front tube because of the splash guard and bumper. Just be careful next time you park close to a curb or parking barrier. I've seen many neons get demolished by careless parking.

I can't remember where I saw it but there is a well-known company selling them for $112.99 over the internet. They're the better ones too. They have the built in generators or somethings so they take even less time to wire up. I don't remember who it is though. Sorry.

You cant have none of that in North Carolina, cops would be on you like white on rice.

Just make sure you dont have em on unless your parked.. which kinda sux.

Illegal colors in NC are Blue and Red.

APC, yeah I know, makes a neon kit. I bought mine at Checker Auto. They were on sale for $60, but are normally $100. I wouldn't spend more than that on them. Street glow is a well-known automotive neon brand as well.

I believe blue and red is illegal cuz they represent the police lights.....I don't think they care here in NYC. I will look into street glow. I hear they're the better brand as well.....
