Well, the day has finally come..

I finally have enough saved for my swap and an LSD tranny and I'm so excited.......... Idk if its a long shot but in my experience nobody on the site is around this area (Baton Rouge/New Orleans) and I'm not from here but I've been patiently saving and am now looking for someone to swap it for me...... Does anyone know of any place?...... other than putting an ad in the paper and callling around the city I don't know how else to go about doing it. I'd hate to have to wait 2 yrs before I change commands...... and have it done there because that is soooooo far away.... any help would be appreciated......thanks.

I can't believe no one has responded to this yet. Hope you find someone who will install your LSD for ya. LSD is a great upgrade to your teg. What better way to put power to both wheels than only one.

Surely in the whole city of Baton Rouge or NOLA, there's gotta be a speed shop or something that'd do it for you...try some google searches or something.

Just about anybody that can rebuild the trans will be able to do the work for you. Its all about making sure the shop you go to does good work and ensure that thrust clearances are proper for the diff (a lot of times of helical, they machine it so it can take advantage of OE thrust clearances).
