2002 MDX Navigation System Problems
My 2002 MDX's nav system just keeps rebooting. It originally just went dark, then after a week at the dealer (they want 3000 bucks for a new system) it now just cycles through the startup. Seems more software related than actual hardware which is what the 3000 dollar estimate is for. My question is two fold.
1) Has anyone ever seen this issue? 2) If it is hardware does any have a suggestion for where to find used 2002 nav systems for the MDX? |

It does sound hardware related. Rebooting issues are often a sign of the DVD drive dying. You might be able to get some parts off of eBay, because $3000 for the parts is insane.

Did you get this problem fixed? I'm having the same issue. The Nav kept rebooting for about 2 days and now is completely dark (I'm using an original Nav disc). It figures that my Acura care warranty just expired.
