2003 DVD Screen is black and unresponsive
In my wife's 2003 Touring MDX the DVD screen is showing no picture and the buttons are unresponsive. The DVD player up front still plays just fine but you can only listen and not watch. I was concerned that there was no electric back there, but the other day I noticed that when the headlights were turned on the lights came on the controls for the DVD screen. Has anyone else experienced this problem or know why this is happening? We are planning a big trip in June and would love to have this fixed before we head out.
Thank you, Scott Lander, WY |

It does sound like the screen has died. Unfortunately if you're not still under warranty that is a rather expensive item to replace.

I understand the screen may have died but why would the remote be unresponsive? It seems that if it were just the screen, the other controls would work. Or am I wrong?
