Bose CD/Tape/Radio No Sound After Reset - Acura Forum

Hi,

I have a 2006 MDX with the Bose CD/Tape/Radio with subwoofer. I recently replaced the battery. I entered the code and the everything seems to work with the unit but I get no sound. I checked all the settings with balance/fade etc. I checked the fuses under the hood but they seemed fine. Is there separate fuses just for the radio's amp I should check?

Well, I figured it out! It was the Radio fuse under the hood. I assumed that it wasn't the fuse because I could change all the settings on the radio, just no sound. Then I checked the fuse and sure enough it was blown. Hmmm... maybe the fuse is for the amp for the radio? Anyway replacing it with the spare solved the problem. Why it blew is still a mystery that may unravel on the forum later.

Hey, I have the same problem as described. I unhooked the battery cable and hooked it back up. I then entered the code for my stereo and no sound to the speakers. Going to check the fuse later today.

Where did you exactly find the fuse for the amp?
just wanted to make sure.
