Car 1: Acura MDX
Unhappy Radio present channels are sometimes lost

I have a 2007 MDX and have lost all my radio preset channels 5 or 6 times since I bought the car brand new last May. I have set my radio channels for driver #1 and #2 separately. When the channels are lost, the six preset channels on FM1 and FM2 are all lost. I notice this occurring after my wife has driven the car for a while (using her key fob) and then I drive the MDX using my key fob for entry.

Has this happened to anyone else's MDX and are you aware of any fixes? I brought the MDX to the dealer today and they said that their own technicans are aware of such problems, but do not know of a fix.

You might want to post this in the "Ask The Dealer" thread as Tim is up on the latest and is very willing to share info and fixes!

Take it to the dealer

If its still under warranty - take it to the dealer and have them look at it. See also if there are any TSB Technical Service Bulletins out on it.

Good Luck

Unhappy radio presets are lost when changing drivers

I am having the SAME problem as hh503! We bought a brand new 2008 MDX in late February, and it has been in the shop 4 times in the last 3 months for losing radio presets when changing drivers. On my third visit, Acura replaced my radio, but I am still having problems. On my last visit (#4), Acura dealer service gave up, and gave the car back to me...they said Acura engineering is working on it, but they have been unable to give me a date as to when I can expect them to be able to fix my problem. I asked Acura Client Services for a replacement car, and they won't give me one. Our next recourse is with BBB Auto Line. We filed a complaint today. Needless to say, we are very frustrated. We want everyone to know about our disappointing experience so far and hope Acura Client Services will do the right thing when BBB contacts them.
