tech package bluetooth question

hi everyone, im thinking of picking up a acura mdx to replace my lease ending nissan murano ... looking over the options, i notice the tech package includes a bluetooth address book exchange ... what is that? does this mean while the base package has bluetooth, you will need the tech package in order to dial/lookup numbers directly from the mdx console?

i am not sure but i do have an 05 mdx with navi and it has bluetooth but i was not able to hook up my phone to it so i wouldn't know but i use to work at circuit city and some of the stereos we had there that had bluetooth did do the address exchange so i would assume that is what it does. i am not sure if you need to buy the tech package for the address exchange because it should do that whether or not you have a tech package but again i am not sure what the difference between the tech package is because the 05 doesn't have tech packages. that starts in the newer generations.

My 2006 MDX has Bluetooth and its easy to load the address book in. Just follow the prompts for first synching in the phoen and adding the addresses. "Piece 'o cake"

not sure either, but I think you do have to have navi to download the address book. i do know that certain phones are not capable of downloading the address book, like mine. some don't work with the bluetooth at all, even if they are bluetooth enabled phones. I'd imagine that list is getting smaller and smaller though...
