FFS is Feedback Fuel System, meaning, basically, a fuel injected vehicle with feed and return fuel lines, pressure regulator, etc.

CLKUP is Computer-Controlled Continuously Variable Lockup, meaning that it has a computer actuated automatic transmission.

Are you impressed yet?

PRE-CAT, I have no idea. I'm thinking whatever you're looking at is some weird international engine listing from Honda. What is it you're trying to figure out?

Pre-cat is in the engine description on the Cash for clunkers website, the pre-cat combo gives 18mpg and the other combo gives 19mpg. Only 18mpg and lower qualify for the money. I have a 93 Legend and no one can tell me what the (Pre-Cat) means in the engine trans combo description so the dealers won't accept my Legend until I can prove it

This is going to be one of those things where angels fear to tread, for any Acura dealership, because we don't know what the heck the government considers what.

I can print up a VIN documentation, but that's about it......I can't give you a definitive answer here......

The same thing happened to me yesterday at the dealership. From what I have read it has something to do with the catalytic converter? Link
