Pre-cat is in the engine description on the Cash for clunkers website, the pre-cat combo gives 18mpg and the other combo gives 19mpg. Only 18mpg and lower qualify for the money. I have a 93 Legend and no one can tell me what the (Pre-Cat) means in the engine trans combo description so the dealers won't accept my Legend until I can prove it
