Hello all,
I am new to this forum but I just want to check and see if anyone knows how I can tell that the front diff fluid was replaced. I got the 30K mile service done. I asked the the dealer to change the Rear Diff fluid, Front Diff fluid change, transmission fluid change and A/C pollen fitler change. On the reciept I do not see anything mentioning the front diff. How much and which fluid is required to replace the front and rear diff? For Differentials do you use VTM-4 Fluid? Thanks |

The front differential is an assembly with the transmission, they share the same case and oil pan. When you change the transmission fluid, that's done.
Only the rear diff uses the VTM-4.
