Acura warranty service at Honda dealer?

Title says it all. I'm shopping for a new car to replace my 3 year old BMW 330i that is a complete POS. I'm trying to find something reliable yet still sporty, so one of the candidates is a new TSX. The closest Acura dealer is 75 miles away. Is there any way to get warranty service taken care of at a local Honda dealer? I know service visits will hopefully be few and far between but I'd hate to have to drive that far. There's a BMW dealer 25 miles away but I've been visiting that place MUCH too often lately. Thanks.

Jim

Unfortunately, no. Honda dealers cannot order Acura parts, and while there are some numbers that are the same, a Honda dealer is not authorized to do the work.

Oh well, thanks for the reply though. Wish there was a dealer nearby! I'd love a new TSX. What would Car and Driver (aka BMW Fanboy Monthly) say if they new I wanted to trade a 3 Series for a TSX??

A slight jack here, but the funny part is I check the pads for my RL at acura and the part numbers don't cross but the dayum box says Honda.

at least they could make me feel high class by changing the sticker.

And please dont fall for the "Brembo" brake BS.
