Alternator Belt issue on 97 2.5 tl 5cyl

Does anyone know if you can put the alternator belt on without having to take anything out like the radiator or fan? My belt snapped and I just ordered a new one. I just dont know how hard it will be to put in.

Im getting someone to install it, but I dont know if this is something I can do myself? I installed the new radiator myself a few months back and it was a pain in the ass, so I just dont want to personally go through that again installing the new belt, if thats what I have to do. It would have been a lot easier if Acura put the alternator belt on the outside of the other bigger one!!

There are easier belts to change for sure, but that one can be done without any component removal. As you noted, you will have to remove the A/C belt to get at it (at least I think it's the A/C belt...).

well I was able to replace all 3 associated belts by only taking the water pump out. Was a little stiff, but 45 minutes later and I had all 3 belts on instead of the 1

The water pump is covered up, behind the timing belt cover. Unless you removed the harmonic pulley(which is torqued at 180ft/lbs and requires a special Honda pulley tool), you would have needed to loosen the P/S belt and the A/C belt.
