Question Dead battery

My 2004 TSX will not start after 3-5 days left in the garage. I replaced the battery last month with a new Optima from the dealer. Nothing left on in the car to drain the battery from what I can see.

My wife would take the car and leave at the airport for week long business trips. She never had a problem starting when returning home, and we never left the car sit in the garage for a week until the last few months. We do not remove the key from the igniton in the garage. Would leaving the key in the ignition for that length of time have an impact?

Able to jump start and get the car running, but need to fix the problem.

Thanx........

Doubt it. What if any electronic accessories are installed on the car?

Something like that has to be traced to a voltage draw or bad ground as that's of course not normal.

Time to stop in at the dealer or a qualified electrical repair shop.

my integra was doing this also and i found out it was my negative wire on my battery..i believe its supposed to ground to the frame of the car then to the tranny, if the ground comes off the frame and is still on tranny it will drain ur battery.

not sayin thats whats wrong with urs but u could check and see if it came off or has a bad connection =P
